Floating Stage

So, there is an opera stage in Bregenz, Austria called the "Floating Stage". It is the world's second largest stage constructed, and over the years, they have had some pretty effing AMAzing sets, props and scenery. It gets its world-renowned status from its use in the Bregenzer Festspiele (Bregenz Festival). They are known for some pretty unconventional staging.
Since 1946, it has been the setting for some of the world's most famous operas. The stages are built every 2 years on the 'concrete core', which is basically a platform anchored to the bottom of Lake Constance.
There are a lot of requirements that must be met in order for a stage to be built there, but at the end, it's so worth it.
